What kind of sweet or savoury pies do you like?

Cheese and onion(the real thing not shop bought slush).As a sweet I like damson ,gooseberry or rhubarb.

Savoury = Minced beef and onion

Sweet = Apple pie with vanilla ice cream
Cherry pie with evaporated milk

In Australia we have a shop called Harry DA Wheels *SP* its actually a trailer and it sells the best pies ,I love the mushy pea & potato meat pies they have ,and for a sweet pie I love custard tarts.
Just remembered my all time favourite pie is a spinach and fetta cheese one my grandmother would make ,havent had it since I was a child...For all you spincach haters beleive me if you tried it you would love it.

I'm one of those people who can pass up pies generally, but my Mom used to make two great cream pies, one was banana cream, she'd usually make a custard, slice bananas in a prepared shell, then top with custard and chill.When it came to serving time she'd cut cut each piece then top with whipped cream.The other one she made some times was butterscotch pie from a recipe her Mom used to make...again the custard, only made with brown sugar and butter.They're both kinda labour intensive, huge calorie counts, but very delicious...they make me remember my childhood
