Hello from another knitter! How about creating a wonderful piece of art from them? You would design it ahead on graph paper, planning where the colored bags go for your design. Then hang it on a wall like a tapestry.

I also saw a knitted car cover recently! That would work with plastic bags.

A hammock?

A doormat in double knit?

I think a door mat would be neat. here's a site where they wove bags together to make one: http://www.thriftyfun.com/tf517076.tip.html

I thinking knitting bags and making gifts would be a good idea, too.

You can knit a raincoat for a small child.
You could also knit a coat for a dog.

make some trendy backpacks for college students weaving hemp and recycled plastic together.
when you get yourfirst one done, let me know. if it isn't too outrageously priced, and looks good, i'll buy one.
