Well our soldiers need much respect and more. B/c if it weren't for them America wouldn't be what it is today (well before we started going down hill with Clinton). I give more respect to our soldiers before I give it to stupid Democrats in office. I was raised to respect people of all people but when it comes down to our troops and the democrats.....I choose our troops. B/c they will do more for America then a what a Democrat in office would do all his life.

By all means judge a political party by the statements from a lawyer representing a group of war protesters. Stephen Bergstein isn't an elected official, for that matter I couldn't even find anything saying he's a democrat at all, he might just be another republican collecting a paycheck

Is that all they said, that we get too much respect? Did they say we get undo respect? Personally, I agree to a certain respect (no pun intended) with the statement. I'm not doing what I do for perks and discounts, though. I do it because I was born to be a soldier. I don't need medals and parades, those are for amateurs. I'm a professional soldier, give me more money.

Why would someone vote for a person like that. In not so many words he was downing the American Soldier. Is he jealous because people respect and honor the Soldier and not his dumb ***. People like him make a government look bad.

The truth is that I respect him for saying it. You know all of the other Democratic are thinking it. He just has the guts to say it. Not like I'm going to vote democrat now. But its about time that they just spoke their mind. Those of you that think that Hilary is a supporter of the troops then you need to read the book, Dereliction of Duty.

So just what is wrong with that statement? The military has a large number of people who cover up for their baby killers. A recent poll showed that. Question is why SHOULD the military be treated as something extra special?
