Ok, I'm a personal trainer I know the logical answer to the question...

I'd prefer to hear that YES people do loose the pregnancy weight, how you did it, how fast you did it and how much you lost after having the baby.

Just need my fears calmed I think

Yes I lost all of my baby weight, twice. I breastfed and ate healthy. With my first I was back to my normal weight in about three months, with my second I was back to my normal weight in about four months. I gained about 70 lbs with each baby but it all came off. Don't stress you will be fine.

No need to fear, Mamma. I am a Mom of 2 girls, both c-sections, I'm a former athlete, I'll be 36 in 3 weeks and I have as of today lost all of my pregnancy weight. It took 7 months of blood, sweat and tears, literally. I thought I couldn't do it, but I was 237 on her birthday (Oct. 17, 2006) and now I am 194. I nurse my baby and some women say that that HELPS. It helps SOME women. It doesn't help ME.

I'm very tall and pretty muscular (track star thighs, etc.) so that may sound big and heavy, but it really does look "sleek." I am aiming to get back to my high school weight and start to run in marathons, so I have about 28 pounds to go. I look anorexic if I go under 150. I don't think that's a good look, esp. trying to raise 2 girls.

So, I eat a lot of NEGATIVE CALORIE foods. I take EXCELLENT VITAMINS. I take a fiber supplement, I eat apples practically all day, I drink green tea, I take my fish oil, I eat sugar free jell-O, I eat a lot of grapefruit, spinach, salmon, tilapia, fat free JollyTime kettlecorn, grilled onions & peppers, tomatoes... just eating REALLY CLEAN has made all the difference.

I walk instead of drive around my neighborhood. I have a lake and nice scenery within a mile, so I bike it, hike it, jog stoller it, walk it, run it, just WORK it everytime I get. Even though your CORE IS WEAK, you can slooooooowly and steadily STRENGTHEN it. ATTITUDE is everything.

DO NOT LISTEN TO NEGATIVE TALK. My husband bless his heart, tries to be encouraging, but he has been discouraging at times, wanting me to fit back into a size 8 while I'm still healing from major surgery. Well, I will get there and stay there.

People will tell you not to do it, but it works for me. I am very spiritual, so FASTING has proven to help me beautify, glorify and shed weight. EVERYBODY IS DIFFERENT. What works for me may not work for everyone. My baby is big, healthy, beautiful and well nourished. My milk supply is excellent.

Your body has created a miracle, so although you may not like what you see in the mirror or when you try on your old jeans, remember that you were there once before, and you can be again. You WILL be.

Madonna Grimes (a personal trainer with a little baby) is very inspiring. Maybe you can visit her website or workout to her DVD's.

Just eat healthy and keep moving. Workout with the baby. They LAUGH when Mommie dances. I hope you dance.

You have to do the same things you did to get ripped BEFORE you
