One openly exposes themselves as the enemy of freedom every day,and the others keep blowing people up in far off lands without affecting us. Which is worse is I guess a question of proximity.

They're both pretty bad. Killing others in the name of their god, and thinking that murder will get them a ticket to their "heaven"... You might as well add "Delusional Serial Killers" to the list, b/c that's what they are.

No, they are not delusional b/c they believe in a god, they're delusional b/c they think that killing is what their god would want.

Which is worse a top contributor that asks stupid questions, or a 10 year old that asks stupid questions? You openly expose your ignorance pretty well, so I guess I answered my own question. And so the Amish, probably the single most fundamental of all Christians in the USA are really bad people according to you.

I know what you mean. I see the Amish causing trouble everyday, that is all over the news, isn't it? At least, it must be in whatever news that you see or hear.

I think that christian fundamentalists have the potential to be more deadly. In a powerful country like the USA, the fundies have much more influence and the ability to cause destruction.

Both are bad, but the fundies are worse.

edit: The cricket, most people in Islam do not regard the extremists as true muslims either. The fact is, they are both doing these things in the name of their beliefs, regardless of whether you consider them to be a christian or a muslim.

Christian fundamentalists do not attack people, ever. They do not videotape themselves beheading innocent people. They do not set bombs in crowded marketplaces. They do not fly planes into buildings, and kill thousands of people all at once.

If you honestly think that a few Christian fundamentalists are worse than Muslim extremists, then I suggest you realize that what goes on in other parts of the world DO affect us. It was that attitude, that "nothing that goes on in other parts of the world matters", that led to more than six million lives being extinguished in concentration camps, and more than seventeen million civilians being killed, as well as nearly one million US military casualties. Yes, World War Two was a result of apathy and isolationism.

A few million Christian fundamentalists is NOWHERE near as much of a threat as just a few hundred thousand, or even a DOZEN, Muslim extremists.

Before you start on the whole "well, Christian fundamentalists blow up abortion clinics" crap, let me just remind you that Christians are to be known by their fruits. And if a person calling themselves a Christian have rotten fruit (like the KKK and those who blow up abortion clinics) they are NOT Christian.

Both are delusional religious fanatics and very dangerous to a free society. But from a practical point, your proximity wins.
