God rested on the sabbath, Many thinks God got so worn out from creating the universe, that he had no energy left & had to rest, God NEVERS gets WORN OUT. God don't need rest. But God was sitting a type & shadow of something to come. It is true that God gave Moses the 10 commandments, But that rest was a literal day for us to rest our body, Because we do get worn out, , So we are looking at 2 words that is outstanding & we need to find out what they mean. & that is REST & SABBATH. In Romans 10:4 It says Jesus Christ is the end of the law. & Jesus said whosoever will let him come & I WILL GIVE HIM/Her REST, what is this rest? Knowing what the sabbath is, No, But rest & peace in him. The jews kept Fiday evening to Saturday evening as the sabbath, But let me ask you, When it is the sabbath in Israel, what time is it in the USA, So if it is Friday evening in Israel, are we or any other country to keep that time frame as Israel prepares for the sabbath, NO. I live one mile from a diferent time zone, So if Friday 6:00 pm comes Do I need to keep the sabbath, or can I just drive one mile & gain another hour to work, Because when 6:00 pm comes here, one mile away it will be 5:00 PM. This is also a honest question I ask this preacher one time back in the 1970's, He try to condeme me for having to do something On Sunday, & yet I confronted him If I drive one mile will I be allow to work one more hour, In fact his church was right at the Time zone. So what is the rest we have today, It is in Jesus Christ. Now God rested on the 7th day, that is a type & shadow of the 1000 yrs. Millieinnium. You have to Understand, During the Millieinnium, All nations will have to send a representative to worship Jesus Christ sitting on that Throne in Jerusalem, So this day of rest is actually The milliennium, which is 1000 yrs. We now keep Sunday as the physical day of rest, But in the millennium we won't need to rest our body. Sunday is kept to keep The day of the week Christ rose from the dead. So that sabbath you think we will have to keep throughtout all eternity, is talking about the milliennium, & then after the millennium we are in the eternal age. And our immortal bodies will not need a day of rest.

At the time of Jesus Christ there is no more sabath day. Sabath day was addressed to the people of Esrael during the time of Moses. You can work all day if you want to work and you can take a rest if you want to take a rest at any day. You can go to the church any time of the scheduled time.
