Why not just ask her out and do something casual and low key? Get to know her at an easy pace.

Continue to be patient with her and most importantly dude...communicate with her. Whether by e-mail or letters or talking one on one. And tell her what you think and listen to what she thinks. Because if she's trying to rush...that may not be a good sign. She tends to move by impulse and is very emotional....and may be using you as a break point. Meaning she'll dump you so fast when she finds another one. She's unstable right now so its a smart thing that you're giving her some room and letting her sort out ther thoughts and feelings. Until then...can you consider dating her. But it will take a while. So patience my friend...patience.

How do you know she is available. Just because she has this break up it doesnt mean she is available....A female does become available when she has no one in her heart....and if the break up is recent she may not be available...she might be wanting a company to be away from the hurt...help her go out have fun...until she finds her old boy friend back...

She needs a friend who will listern or comfort her at the moment.
If you start a relationship with her in this situation, then be prepared for a breakup. Give her room as much as comfort her.

if u know why they break off... and u just act to be the opposite of that guy and a replica of wat this gal wants... and try to be close with ur kind words.. and pat her back with supportive nods to watver she blabbers.. she might be urs.. the trick is when u say ur ready to get into the game.. ( touch works better than words get my point
