im gonna spend a month in ny this summer and i found this great place on 56th. and 2nd. ave ,,this is going to be my first visit to the city,,
i wanna know the kind of people that live there,, is it safe at night ,etc.

It is an ok neighborhood. Not much to do around there, but it is safe (although the streets are not that crouded at night)

Thats a good spot to stay. Not too much going on at night, but you'll be close to the train and not too far from from some good stuf to do. Its very safe at night.

That's an upscale piece of Manhattan real estate. You have a mixture of nouveau rich in the neighborhood, long timers, and successful creative types. For the most part, very, very, very rich people live in that neighborhood.
