Somewhat. Starting anything can sometimes be most challenging, but there are usually steps along the way that are tough as well.

Good question indeed....

I believe it's different for everyone to some degree. I would say that if your family, past and/or present has had that first step being difficult experience it will most likely be the same for you.
Some find a road block down the path of God that seems too much. Then they believe the first step was easier. I assure you that regardless of whatever may come our way once we have made a sincere covenant with God to serve Him no matter what that in the end, we will be better people and have a better inheritance.

It seems to me that the hardest step is the one before the last one. It takes ages!!! It seems to me that Time has stopped, nothing goes any further, everything might never end or end in disaster and all my efforts were a waste. Yes, this one step before the last one, is endless!!

Relatively...my opinion is that each step gets harder and harder....but your ability to handle steps grows so what would have blown you out of the water the first time is manageable when you actually face it later

I really don't think so. I think throughout life we have hard times. I think sometimes the easiest step is the first one.. The real test is the ability to endure.
