YES, I agree, I will rather change this sentence. " There is no any other religion than One"
Because
1-universe ( Creation) is one.
2- Humanity is one
3- God is One
There can not be two or more religions ( Dharma or Deen).
Problem is with the meaning and explanation of religion,
People think
1-Faith is religion or
2-some activities are religion or
3-some rituals are religion
But,
Religion ( in Hindi ,"Dharma") is universal and that is very clear to every one because Almighty God has never left u unguided. He has given you the wisdom and intuition apart from reformers and messengers, to know what is right and what is wrong and what is truth and what is false.
What you need to do, is to become absolutely honest for your self and see in every scripture , every school of thought and every possible guidance to find the truth and purpose of your life without prejudice and biased motive.
You will find "the truth" from every corner of this universe , from every religion and from every path.

Unfortunately, there has been bending of the truth in some ways.
But after all, it is not the legalistic practices that some perform, but it is the belief and acceptance in Christ.
It is not what you do on a Sunday morning, it is about
Accepting Christ as your Lord and Saviour and trying to live a life that gives glory to God and show Love to others.
For God's two greatest and most important commands, were not: 'You must to go to Church on Sunday or else you will go to hell' but:
Love your neighbor as yourself
Trust in the Lord with all your Heart, Mind and Soul.
So therefore there are some bending and differences but it all comes down the acceptance of Christ's death and Love for God and Others.
Scripture has different meaning for everyone individually, for one cannot say that this is the only lesson can be learned from a certain passage.
For one passage can contain many meanings for many people. Experience is different per person depending on there life and situation.
I do hope that answers your questions to some degree.
Have a great day!

Which religion? There are many religions that exist right now. And what about the religions of the ancient civilizations? How were the NUMEROUS ancient religions of the Greeks, Egyptians, Aztecs, Persians, Chinese, Romans, Indians, etc. to fall by the wayside but the current day religions hold any truth? Especially as we learn more. Because a book tells you so? No. Religion is what people used in ancient times to explain the unexplainable. Why did the Sun rise and then the Moon? The power of light overcame the power of darkness and the light was overpowered by the power of darkness, every day. Why is there so much water and what makes the waves crash? Poseidon, Ruler of the Sea. People would pray to Poseidon for safe passage across the sea, because they FEARED what would happen if they didn't. Today's religion are not different except that people still believe it in the face of a plethora of new knowledge.

Yes! I do agree with u!100%.But the slaves of thoughts of 5000 years of human culture will not agree with this b/coz they r paralised 2 think on their own, using their own brain. The strange thing is that none other but the "concept" of religion has destroyed & till today is destroying the mankind with uncomparable "toll" of lives, and no religion preaches "killing"in any form/way. I dont know when that day will come when each kid in house is practicing different religion of his/her choice & nowhere in any application/form religion is required to be mentioned. Beyond the 4 walls of home everybody is one & the same. Those who r kind enough & think 4 peace & wellbeing of mankind must behave in their personal life to fetch such a day soon.Bravity is required.Let all of us be brave!

IN our scriptures religion is defined as- the activity that brings love of God in the heart
SO being religious means to love god
WE respect all religions who practice this basic idea
In fact there is no differnce between us
But those who don't accept this easy idea are only distortions
of true religion

Yes, Christopher Hitchens points out in his new book that there have been over 10 virgin births of religious saviors. What's there problem with sex? Anyway, many religious ideas were carried over from old defunct religions. From Sun worship to Zeus to Jesus and Mohammed it's the same thing packaged a little differently.

I DONT AGREE THAT ALL RELIGIONS ARE SAME.
I say that all religions speak of good things but Islam gives practical methods of acheiving good things. All religions basically exhort mankind to be righteous and eschew evil. But Islam goes beyond that. It guides us towards practical ways of achieving righteousness and eliminating evil from our individual and collective lives. Islam takes into account human nature and the complexities of human society. Islam
is guidance from the Creator Himself.
Example - Islam commands us to shun robbery and also
prescribes method of eli-minating robbery
a. Islam prescribes method of eliminating robbery
All major religions teach that theft is an evil act. Islam teaches the same. So what is the difference between Islam and the other religions? The differencelies in the fact that Islam, besides teaching that robbing is evil, shows a practical way of creating a social structure in which people will not rob.
b. Islam prescribes Zakat
Islam prescribes a system of Zakat (obligatory annual charity). Islamic law prescribes that every person who has a saving that exceeds the nisab level i.e. more than 85 grams of gold, should give 2.5% of that saving every lunar
year in charity. If every rich person in the world gave Zakat sincerely, poverty will be eradicated from this world. Not a single human being would die of hunger.
c. Chopping off the hands as punishment for robbery
Islam prescribes chopping off the hands of the convicted robber. The Glorious Qur’an says in Surah Maidah:
“As to the thief, male or female, cut off his or her hands:a punishment by way of example, from Allah, for their crime: and Allah is Exalted in power, full of wisdom.” [ Al-Qur’an 5:38]
The non-Muslim may say, “Chopping off the hands in this 20th century. Islam is a barbaric and ruthless religion!”
d. Results achieved when Islamic Shariah Implemented
America is supposed to be one of the most advanced countries in the world. Unfortunately it also has one of the highest rates of crime, theft, and robbery. Suppose the Islamic shariah is implemented in America i.e. every
rich person gives Zakat ( 2.5% of his savings in charity above 85 grams of gold every lunar year), and every convicted robber has his or her hands chopped off as a punishment. Will the rate of theft and robbery in America
increase, remain same or decrease? Naturally it will decrease. Moreover the existence of such a stringent law would discourage many a potential robber.
I agree that the amount of theft that takes place in the world today is so tremendous that if you chop off the hands of all the thieves, there will be tens of thousands of people whose hands will be chopped off. The point here is that the moment you implement this law the rate of theft will decline
immediately. The potential robber would give it a serious thought before jeopardizing his limbs. The mere thought of the punishment itself will discourage majority of the robbers. There will barely be a few who would rob. Hence only a few person’s hands would be chopped off but millions
would live peacefully without fear of being robbed.
Islamic Shariah is therefore practical, and achieves results.
Islam has Practical Solutions for the Problems of Mankind
Islam is the best way of life because its teachings are not doctrinaire rhetoric but practical solutions for the problems of mankind. Islam achieves results both at the individual and collective levels. Islam is the best way of life because it is a
practical, universal religion not confined to any ethnic group or nationality.

I read somewhere once that god is like a giant diamond. All religions are simply facets on said diamond. Each religion has the same basic beliefs.
Do I agree? To a certain extent. I'm not a religion person. I'm a spiritual person...

Very true,
truth is in fact beyond the limits, it does not exhist more than one truth, also truth for us should become an experience and not remain intellectual.
It is for the open mind to discover it, and with an open heart and real compassion for our brothers and sisters on this earth.
