Go bowling. It's more fun than bingo, and Christians need to BE out in the world, not just in the confines of their curch.

Church activities should not be involved in 'worldly' pursuits,
Thes things are recreation, and should be done outside of spiritual matters.
(John 18:36) Jesus answered: “My kingdom is no part of this world. If my kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be delivered up to the Jews. But, as it is, my kingdom is not from this source.”

(John 17:11) “Also, I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world and I am coming to you. Holy Father, watch over them on account of your own name which you have given me, in order that they may be one just as we are.

(John 17:15) “I request you, not to take them out of the world, but to watch over them because of the wicked one.

This scripture belies any who think that isolating oneself is approved of God. It is not.

(James 4:4) Adulteresses, do YOU not know that the friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever, therefore, wants to be a friend of the world is constituting himself an enemy of God.

(1 John 2:17) Furthermore, the world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of God remains forever.

(1 John 5:19) We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one.

Is your church complying with Matthew 28; 19,20

Neither.

It's best you all go to the Church hall and debate the mini-skirt length of your town's new librarian.

I think it would be wise to e-mail the Pope and get his input.
