i wouldnt use that scripture to support preaching to gentiles as well as jews...
for one thing, i'm a gentile. so i'd share my faith with other gentiles.
but the canaanite woman didnt want preaching... she wanted healing for her daughter.
Jesus said that healing was the childrens bread. its a traditional saying... a way to describe the canaanites who were notoriously at odds with the jews.
but she must've known the other saying that dogs get crumbs that fall from the master's table.
what she said was scripture... and so Jesus was "permitted" to minister healing to her daughter.

That's what Acts 15 is about.
Also, prior to that:
Acts 10:28
He said to them: "You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with Gentiles or visit them. But God has shown me that I should not call anyone impure or unclean.
Acts 10:45
The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on Gentiles.
Acts 11:1
The apostles and the believers throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.
Acts 11:18
When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, "So then, even to Gentiles God has granted repentance that leads to life."

Again this is taking scripture and tying it up,the good news had to be preached to the House of Israel first and when they rejected it, the Pagans were chosen to receive it, and the gentiles have become the Christians by the way.

Correct,
Catholics and Jews will not "Break Bread" together. Doesn't mean they "hate" each other. Catholics just celebrate the Last Supper differently than the Jews.

We can preach to anyone. But we eventually know whether it will do any good or not.
You gave me a verse, I'll give you two.
Luke 13
4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
