this place has alot of secrets and hush hush documents etc,who thinks they should just release all of this, i think its unfair to hold back information .if someone has true faith then it would not alter in any way there beliefs .someone that questions or would question anything they are holding back i think there faith was not that strong to began with .so anyway you look at it , it would not matter ,but it could also bring non belivers to belive , so who agrees they should just release everything

It is not true that the Vatican's archive is open to scholars!!

An archive is open to scholars but there is a substantial amount of documents that are sealed in a very secure area and no one is allowed to see. Not expert theologians, archaeologists, document experts - no one!!!!

Many scientists in these fields think that the Vatican is hindering scientific research in their fields of study!!!!

It also raises the question of why this material has to be hidden!! One widely held view in the world of academe that works in these fields is that there is too much that conflicts with modern teachings!!!

I'd pay all my life except 3 days to surf their secret libraries.. all books that were forbidden and banned, Al Azif, Sifere Hadath, etc, are there. Books that were burned before, ancient copies of the bible.. etc.. This Library is the most mysterious Archive on earth.

What we know already is enough to make us ill.

Let the Vatican keep their secrets.

Add: Scholars wishing to review information in the archives have to arrive at the gate knowing exactly what documents they want.

Scholars also have to present their research requests in writing in advance, allowing the librarians ample time to decide between their three options in responding — 1) bring out the requested document, 2) claim the document doesn't exist, or 3) admit the document exists but refuse to give the scholar access.

My friend go to the bookstore and buy a book by David Hunt called ;' A Woman Rides The Beast'

He has blown the lid off all the conspiracies and places the catholic church squarely in the middle of the Holy Bible !

He has a web site www.thebereancall.org and yes the revealing of the truth has brought many millions to Faith in Jesus , not Mary- not priests forgiving you - not paying fines (indulgences)

Be Blessed

The Vatican is EVIL.....

The Catholic church is the most powerful, influential, and corrupt church in history.
*Proof*
Present Day-High priest concealing the identity of known child molesters by transferring them to different parishes.
History- The Holy War

When Pope John Paul died I was overjoyed. It was as if Satan had succumb to his own flames. No disrespect to Catholic People or the Catholic Religion but the
Catholic Church is evil and the Vatican should burn baby burn!

You're a little late:

"In 1881, thanks to the generosity of Pope Leo XIII, the [Secret] Archives were opened to be freely consulted by scholars, thus becoming the most important centre of historical research in the world."

You are making an accusation. What is the basis of your accusation? Do you have any documentary evidence to back up your charges or are they just the product of your imagination?
