its a hindi proverb which means no 1s pure not even da moon(chand) which seems 2 b even it has scars in it dat is its meteors(daagh)

it is said that the moon has a scar or a flaw. when we say chand mein daagh hai, it means that even the moon is no flawless(not completely beautiful), but you are.
actually this is the beauty of the hindi language and the rhythm and meaningchanges with its translation.

The moon has hills and valleys and from earth it looks like dark Shadow.
Moon is beautiful but these blackish marks show up..
Similarly any beautiful face specially of girl..if has any marks ..then they say...never mind ..even moon has blemishes..meaning in Hindi..Chand Mein bhi Daag hai..
