The actual word of "God" or the father in the Book of Genesis is "The Breasted One". No kidding.
So, your question is how do we live without nourishment as if we were babies out of the womb(?).
Most babies without nourishment of their mother's milk or food make bad adults because of missing learning so that serving is not something that is related to. The children learn only how to survive.
This is the curse of failing to be a good parent.
Learn to serve, even if parents do not teach us because it cannot be used as an excuse to fail.

Actually "Lord" in the originally language of Greek is pronounced "kurious" which means "Master" translated He [the Lord Jesus Christ] is the Master of my life [I don't know about yours]. I believe that you are looking at it in a worldly sense and if that is the case you will have a difficult time understanding who the Lord really is and what He means to your life.

I've recently gave my life to the lord. I am trying to sevre all ties to my sinful life. I am going to start going to mass. I am also joining the medical field to help others who are less fortunate than myself. My goal is to treat people w/ love and respect, the way that the lord himself would do in my place.

Which lord are you referring to? Little lord Fauntleroy, or lord the rings? A belief in any lord is unnecessary for any of us to understand our responsibility as a member of our species.

To be honest, not very well, It is a life long struggle to avoid all the temptations of the flesh. I just do the almost best I can. I'm just glad I serve one who is forgiving.

God is the Supreme Male form and Goddess is the Supreme Female form. Lets not lump them together. Radha is the feminine counterpart of God and Krishna is God also known as Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. They are simultaneously one and yet different from one another. They are our Mother and father eternally but separated two Personalities to enjoy eternal unlimited spiritual Loving pastimes, which we can choose to be a prat of or not. for info go to harekrishnatemple.com Read Bhagavad Gita as it is BY Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada- tells everything one wants to know about who God is and our relationship to Him and His eternal Consort Radha or Hare.

To serve Jesus Christ you must first know Him and be able to communicate with Him well. Then you will know exactly what He wants you to do and you do only that. Jesus asked us to only take His yoke upon us His yoke is easy and His burden is light. God bless you for asking.
