If God could be whoever you wanted him to be, what would he be like? (Or would he not exist?)

I know whatever we think will not automatically be the 'truth' - I know there is only one truth, there can only be one truth ... but idealistically what do you think would be the best truth?
And, do you believe in your 'ideal' God and 'ideal' belief/religion?

Jayasri devi dasi - no disrespect, but God has not been 'already discovered' by everyone - by some people, maybe - but I don't know who God REALLY is, and of course all agnostics don't know!! Everything we think is what we think - we don't know everything about God.

Let's see
First, he would be tolerant of all sexualities
Second, no-one would be condemned to an eternity of suffering
Third, he would have done a better job at creating the world - no natural disasters etc
Fourth, he would not allow people to suffer from terminal illnesses in pain
Fifth, he would make himself obvious
That's all I can think of for now.

If I could create God, I would make him to be exactly what I believe he is. He would be a giant ball of energy, created from every living thing that has died. It has grown larger and larger over the years, as more and more have contributed to it. This energy is good, and bad, and we all have access to it. We just have to be careful as to HOW we use it. The ultimate truth is you either have a good or bad soul. You have good intentions or you don't. The energy you give in life is the energy you will give in death. This is as simple as I can put it. But no matter what you believe, if you take care of yourself, each other, and the earth, you will be just fine. Great question.

If "god" existed it would be the ultimate equation or theory that explain the behavior, location, and direction of every particle, energy package, and portion of space-time in the universe.
So in fact if i weren't an atheist i would be a deist(so stop trying to "save" my "soul" ^_^).

How would yo like it if I said that about you. That is rude. To just make something up about someone and pretend it is true. You rascal. God is not to be speculated upon. He is already discovered. No nee to make up your own idea. That is called the mode of ignorance and illusion (Maya) Read Bhagavad Gita as it is BY Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada- tells what He looks like and what we do in the spiritual wold and everything no nee to make up your illusory god.

my god would be in the form of a giant hot chick, faygo would be manditory for church, and pot would be legal, and peace and fun would be everywhere..just to get along is all i'd want it to be
