God also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. Has an original Spiritual Eternal Form which is in the shape like ours (Two arms, two legs, head torso, hair, eyes, ears mouth, etc.) but His Form is not made of material elements and His form is Unlimited unlike ours. Each and every part of His transcendental body can perform the part of any other part. For example He can taste with His eyes and see with his ears, etc. The light that emanates from His unlimited spiritual body is called His Brahman Effulgence and is what many impersonalists worship but it is not the goal to merge with it. We are to serve God with Love and devotion. (Bhakti Yoga) and at the time of death if we only think of Him and have no material desires we will return to the Supreme Spiritual world and Serve Him. God is not an individual some where high up in the sky to be easily seen by our naked eye.
As per Adwaitha philosophy, every thing is God and nothing else. He is every thing and every thing is in Him.
As long as we have ignorance(Agyana) in us, we will not be able to know this fact. The path of realising God is through Devotion, Service and Meditation. One should be an embodiment of Love and Compassion to go any where near such realisation.
God cannot be seen, He can only be realised.
As the renowned Tamil Saint, Tirumoolar said" Kandavar Vindillai Vindavar Kandillai". It means that those who talk of God have not seen Him and those who have seen Him do not talk.

People try to get so philisophical about this question when there is no need to.

The answer is very simple. God created man in his own image. Christ, who is God's only begotten in the flesh, HAS A BODY! We know this from the scriptures. Christ was resurrected and people touched his body! Christ ate with his disciples! We may not have a complete understanding of the exact nature of his body, but it is CLEAR that he still has one.

If God made man in his own image and his own Son has a resurrected body of flesh and bone, then is only makes sense that our Father in Heaven also has a body.

Since Christ is God's only begotten in the flesh, it would also make sense that they have similar looks. Most fathers and sons have a certain resemblance and I have no reason to believe that Christ doesn't resemble the looks of His father.

Why this question is so baffling to people is a complete mystery to me. The scriptures give us all kinds of clues about the nature of God, but if you take the Bible literally on this subject, it completely discredits the "triune" theory, so most religions who believe God, Christ and the Holy Ghost are one in the same and not different people but one in purpose, do not want to consider the obvious.

God takes the form what a devotee wants Him to take. When no body is crying for Him, then also He is in the form of this universe. Just a trickle of two tears are sufficient to present Himself to a devotee at once.

Having said that, it is important for a person to understand what God is. Else when the God incarnates, you want be able to recognize Him. You understand Him when described by a true saint.

Ishwar comes to earth in the form that you are in. You do not know hinduism enough that is wny you ask the question.

If you knew Ishwar, or just basic knowledge of the scriptures or the history of hinduism, you would not have asked the question. I say this because you give your name as Prahlad. My answer is based on hinduism. I dont know about the other religions.

Depictions of God changed throughout the Bible
Early on, he walked with man, and talked face to face. Then he communicated through burning bushes etc. Then he could only talk through angels. Then only through prophets.
Then he turned himself into 3 separate beings, one of whom looked just like a human being, but the other two were still invisible.

God was the first Multiple personality disorder.

The only tangible form we know of concerning God is Jesus Christ. The very foundation of Christianity believes that Christ is God. But to ask if God has a form is to REALLY limit who He is. I don't think you can safely answer that question...
