if you were told you had to choose between being paralized from the waist down or blind what would you pick?

Paralyzed from the waist down,because i already have a deteriorating spine and tailbone,my disk is in so much pain that there's not anything that can be done about it,i'm a high risk factor because of my health,i've had 2 open heart surgerys' and take coumdin every night,that my spine & tailbone was just too risky.i can't stand at my kitchen sink and wash my dishes for 5 min.then having to sit down for 30 min.it hurts so bad i almost end up crying from the pain.so thats why i said paralyzed waist down.

I would choose blind. Being paralyzed means being dependent on others to help you day to day. Many people who are blind lead independent lives. There are so much new technology to help people who are blind, it's much easier now than 20 years ago. I would have a much more difficult time choosing between being blind or deaf.

Paralized from the waist down. That depends. If being paralyzed from the waist down included my sex organs then I would rather be blind. But if I could still use them just fine then I would choose being paralyzed but able to see.

Woah..hmmm i choose to go for a 2nd oppinion!.. But i take blind please,i mean comon' not having sex ARGH THE TRADGEDY! and well yeah even tho being blind would make the sex hard hey..im a dude atleast il get a hand job while she tries to to find what goes where :-D

I think that I would pick paralyzed. I dont think I could stand not being able to see anything! Plus I can't read braille. A hover-round might could be fun anyways...

Blind. You have a lot more functionality, and people actually feel sorry for the blind & help them, moreso than they do for paralyzed people.

paralyzed, you can still do things you cant do when your blind. But not having sex would be a killer.

blind..coz if you spend more money you can get your vision back...there are lots of eye donors now..(you can get their eye after they die)....but of u r paralized, no way to cure it....
