The best possible score varies by company. The two most common scores are FICO(which actually is used by a majority of lenders) this one goes from 350-850. Another score is the Vantage, which is not as widly used, but it goes from 501-900.

However, anything in the 700+ range for FICO is considered good, over 750 is very good.

Credit scores--also called FICO scores--typically range from 300 to 850. There's no score "cut-off" so it's hard to say what a good score is, but the higher your score, the better.

Note that your score may very among the three credit bureaus--TransUnion, Experian and Equifax.

Traditional scores (Fico & Beacon) run from 300 to 850. The new Vantage score runs from 501 to 990. But at this time no lenders are looking at the Vantage score.

my neice told me that they had put in for a modular home and they ws waiting for their credit report to come back, according to what she told me,now we live here in North Carolina and it differs, but she told me that their credit report was like 640 when it should have been at least 680,which both is realy good but the 680 would have been even better, but 640 is also good because they got their modular home,so it mostly depends a lot on which state you live in because all credit reports are different from state to state.I hope this has helped you some and good luck.
