I would, as long as once he got to know me he wouldn't be shy with me. I understand being shy at first but eventually the guy would need to be willing to open up, if not I would have to move on.

I`m too outgoing to like a shy guy. But I wouldnt wanna be with a guy thats too outgoing because then comes problems. A lot of chicks like outgoing guys, and most outgoing guys dont know the boundary between "sure, come to my house", and "no, I have a girlfriend". So i usually go for the guys that are in between the two.

Yes I would date a shy guy over a out going. Sometimes I find that out going people have to be the center of attention and sometimes have something to hide. I find shyness attractive and I value being around anyone who can be laid back yet watchful.

Personally I love outgoing guys just because they are a lot easier to hang out with right off the bat. Sometimes shy is cute, but I like guys with some guts. It's easier to get to know them if they want to get to know you.

Work on that shyness problem. Dare to be yourself. Stop worrying about what you think other people want you to be. You are okay just like you are. If someone doesn't like you, you don't need them anyway. There is a whole world of people out there and a lot of them will like you for who you really are. A lot of them won't. But you don't like everyone you meet either. Shyness is really self centered fear. Way too worried about what other people think. Self acceptance. Cause you can never fill the shoes of who you think other people want you to be. Who you are is good enough!!
Try this next time you are with others, instead of worrying about what they are thinking of you, concentrate on what you are thinking about them. It totally turns the tables on shyness. Start telling yourself you are okay just like you are and sooner or later and hopefully sooner you will start to believe that and come out of your shyness shell.

I would, if he would. I flirt and put myself out there for him, and he is too shy to take the bait. Any suggestions for me? =) I'm kind of old fashioned, so don't say "Ask him out"

I really like guys who are shy. I want them to make the first move, though, and I want to go slow, so sometimes the only ones who listen are shy.

oh my gosh... yes!!! actually, depends what you mean by outgoing... do you mean like a guy that has a lot of experience with girls and moves super fast? then no... but if you are shy to the point where you wont even like hold hands, then thats not good either....

Ignore the previous "you're not that hideous" answer... you're not hideous at all. What you have is a classic lack of confidence. If you were more outgoing, you'd have ladies eating out of your hand... so just keep working on it, ever so slowly pushing outside of your comfort zone more and more.
