hoff mom: Evolution is a very slooooow process. maybe one day the penguins will soar with the eagles, lol? Where is the intelligent design in women practically going through hell to deliver a child? Why do we have tailbones? Why do we all have an appendix?

Okay; where's the evolution there? Evolution, by definition, is beneficial. What dumb bird just quit using its wings and evolved into something that waddles around in the snow, prey for killer whales?
Response: If evolution's so slow, why didn't the penguins KEEP UP? Either they never gained the ability to fly, or they've retrograded. OR here's another thought: Maybe they were designed to SWIM.
We have "tailbones" as an attachment point for muscles. They serve a purpose; they're not "vestigial" anything. And an organ like the appendix which would presumably have been useful once upon a time, going into disuse, is not an example of evolution. It is an example of adaptation. Darwin's finches developed big beaks during a time of drought because the only food was more difficult to access and crack open. When the drought passed, the species' beaks returned to normal. If we ever needed an appendix again, God designed it to be able to return to use.
Oh. And the childbirth thing: As a mother of 3, and expecting another in the fall, I agree it would be nice if children were generated, perhaps, by spores or clippings or some such thing. But they're not, and that's why God invented epidurals.
:-D Have a great night.

Ah well, that's been explained. It's not intelligent design at all.
It's a designed-in flaw. Intelligent cursing.

they are awesome swimmers, except the dodo, it was just stupid and deserved to become extinct, stupid dodos! It takes brains to swim, and waddle but unfortunately they suck on land, but awesomely enough their main land predator, the sea lion, also sucks on land.

He didn't design that your dumb consciousness did. their are 8,400,000 species of life due to the 8,400,000 different kinds of material consciousness. Why does everyone blame God for our stupid consciousness. (Or lack of it) that is why some flowers don't smell and some men are handsome but have no intelligence. Material consciousness creates those types of forms of life.
