My boyfriend and his brother got into a fight and his little brother said somethings that hurt my boyfriend really badly. REALLY badly and I don't know what to do. This is not one of those brotherly fight things its about there dad who is dieing of cancer. And there fighting!!! There will proboubly die soon. My boyfriend locked himself in the bathroom (I tried to get him to come out) he is sobbing so loud I can hear him, I dont know were his brother is he ran out of the house. (we dont live in the best neighborhood) I dont know what to do plz help! Im close to breaking down the bathroom door my bf is misrably sobbing but wont open the door.

If their dad is dying of cancer you should know that at a time like that, emotions are raw and it is much easier to be hurt than you would normally be. Let your boyfriend cry. If he wants to be alone, honor that. Just let him know you will be there for him when he feels like talking. Don't ask a lot of questions, just listen.
Please ask both brothers to keep their fight away from their father. Other that that, don't interfere.

Try to get the siblings together and tell them that their father needs to see them getting along. We are all dying, but when our passing becomes imminent, we try to see all of those last minute things we have missed in life. Family harmony is at the top of the list. If they can't get along together, they need to stay away from each other and be loving brothers at home. Fighting and abusing what little time their dad has left is very selfish.
