Is it true that a lot of guys dont like talking on the phone cause this guy that i have a major crush on and he knows and were good friends will not give me his phone number and he keeps making up excuses because of an incident where a girl would not stop calling him 3 years ago he even switched schools since then! So I dont know what's the problem? He shows all the signs that he likes me yet he wont give me his phone number!

He probably gets picked on at home when girls call him.why dont you just give him you number and have him call you.Tell him to call whenever.If he wont call you then he does have a problem with phones.

i have only had one 'bunny boiler' experience, so i don't hisitate to give my number if i like someone, however, it was short lived and didn't cause me too much grief. Your friends situation could be different-once bitten, twice shy and all that. Otherwise, he's just making excuses, because he's not into you, or he may have someone else that wouldn't like to see another woman's number popping up?? just stabbing in the dark, really i think the best thing is for you to ask him straight out, tell him it's a bit weird that he won't give you his number (which it is) see what he has to say when directly confronted with it. good luck!

Honestly, If he doesn't want to give you his phone number it's because he has another girlfriend that doesn't trust him and she checks his phone logs to see who is calling him. That has got to be the worst excuse I have ever heard. Ask him can you come over to hang out or go out to a local hangout spot that will let you know why if he refuses.

Ok, then give him your number and tell him to call YOU! So then if he gives you an excuse for that, forget him then. Because, I don't know a nice way to say this but; maybe he doesn't like you like that. Best thing is just confront him but beware.

He is telling lies. When we like a girl we want 100% to have her number and to give our number and to call her.
He probably has another girlfriend or for some reason he just don't really want to date you (at least not in a serious romatic way) maybe all he want is sex and no calls.
The stalker-girl excuse is just that an excuse, I myself tell the same stuff when girls I don't like ask for my number.

Yeah...we don't talk on the phone because it's boring. If we do then we're doing something else at the same time, and then we get distracted and whoever we're talking to gets mad at us. So no, the only reasons we talk on the phone are to get dates arranged and/or if we are utterly and completely bored, and even then it only takes a few minutes to realize something else is more fun.

Guys don't have a problem with giving out their number to chicks they want to sleep with, regardless of past experience.
In this case, it seems like he's just not that in to you.

Talking on the phone is difficult when playing your gameboy, watching t.v. and eating .... it's just too taxing.
