When I was younger, my top 2 front teeth chipped a little in the bottom left corner. I think it chipped again. Is it worth telling the dentist? I go every 6 months and he hasnt said anything?

If you have been going to dentist since your 2 front teeth chipped off at young age and your dentist hasn't mentioned anything; it implies that your chipped tooth is most likely small and hardly noticeable. Now if your teeth got chipped again you should see dentist as soon as possible under following circumstances :

1) chipped tooth is large, noticeable and unesthetic ( or simply you don't like it )
2) teeth are sensitive whenever you drink cold/hot/sweet food
3) or it hurts when you bite down

If you do not have any of the above three mentioned symptoms then you are fine. There is no rush to see dentist right away and you can wait till your next scheduled 6 months appointment

I had my 2 front teeth chipped, I asked my dentist about them and he said all he had to do was fill them / cap them.

No needles needed, took less than 20 mins :)

Just ask!

If your teeth weren't causing you pain and if they dont bother you then ther's no reason to do anything but if you want them filled for cosmetic reasons just ask your dentist
