I use clean and care sensitive skin atm. I was using ponds exfoliating face wash. I currently am using ponds moisturizer (whihc ive used long before this problem) recently I have got a sea salt exfoliate for my body (not a wash but pure sea salt) it has helped greatly. but my face still breaks out badly anytime i get dressed out!
I am on the depo shot. I have an appointment in the beginning of june for a check up i already planned on asking about ortho tricyclen or something that mite help my skin too.

Neutragena acne body wash. And face wash. Or birth control. All three help. Especially the birth control if you can't really reduce the stress any further, it fixes everything. Plus the obvious no baby thing. And yeah stress does make people break out. Just take 15 minutes a day to chill out and that will help too if you need a cheaper fix then products.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.

The secret is never to touch the spots

It is likely that stress can cause acne...or your body might just be going through some type of change. If you want to fix it...and you can't really eliminate the stress...then the best thing to do would be to find a product that can help you manage your acne. This link has a new product by Neutrogena that is made specifically for acne caused by stress.

Personally, I haven't tried it. I use the Clean and Clear advantage acne spot treatment, which, in my opinion, really helps. Hope this answer helps!!

Hi Jen, I think its true because the same thing happens to me too. But, I think one of the other reasons you have acne is that when your stressed you tend to drink a lot less water, causing your skin to be dehydrated. My suggestion would be to do relaxation exercises to calm yourself like yoga, pilates,... and drink lots of water too.

Oh yeah, I know some people listen to the 'inner talk' CD's and they say it helps too!
