Christians have never done that sort of thing in the past - even when atheists massacred them by the millions. (Or do folks forget that this scenario has already played out over and over again?)

That is an idiotic representation.
How would we be restricted from practicing our faith? Would we be imprisoned or hunted down and killed? Would we resist an attack by aggressors?
We would not attack innocents nor would our church bless such an attack. Your question is ludicrous.
As far as defending ones self, I would do that whether I was being attacked for religious, economic, political or criminal reasons. There is a moral imperative to defend ones life. And if you were to ban my religious practice, that is what you would have to threaten. No? ask a Nazi how you solve the Jewish problem. Again your question was posed many times in history. By the Nazis, the Mongols, the Turks, the Saracens, the Romans. And you thought you had a new approach.

Obviously you havent a clue what Christianity teaches. The core principle of Christianity is to love God, your neighbor, even your enemy. You want desperately to believe that all religions are equally bad, yet Christianity is your target. You do not ask this about Buddism or Taoism. Why not? Can you not picture a Taoist terrorist? I can't either. Taoism teaches emptiness and peace. Likewise with Buddism. Not all religions are the same. The beliefs of Christianity are well known and I know of no Bible teachings that suggest, even to the most radical follower, that violence is virtuous. In fact, Christians are so meek they will not even defend their faith when you accuse them. So the better question is not what would Christians do, but what would athiests like you do?

What a question! I like this one. Religion is being banned (Christian). If the Church approved then it would have followed the world rather than God. I will stand for God and fear not the one that can destory only the body! It would not save the religion anyway. satan will never defeat God, he will win some battles but he is defeated already!

No because Christianity would never ask us to do that. Jesus saves people and doesn't go around killing people. Christianity survives because it's real, and when it's persecuted it goes underground if need be but it survives, in places in the word today the Underground church is growing stronger everyday even though it is against the law for them to be a Christian. Jesus gives us His strength when we need it....So Christianity will NEVER be in it's last breath.

You underestimate Christians...While there are a few who would do anything to keep it alive, most of us will try to convert people, but not kill anyone. It seems that Athiesm is growing, and Chrisianity is slipping, but most would not do something so extreme as that. Otherwise, they wouldn't be doing it for the right reasons, because we are not supposed to kill anyone, as it says in the Bible.

no i dont believe that any true christian would.
...
just look at what the church hasnt done with all the slow encroachment of banning christianity out of the public arena already.
has any church vowed to bomb innocent people because of it.
no. it didnt happen back in Rome with the christians thrown to the lions or crucified or many different ways of torture that bring death.
the only way to save a worthy religion is to let God do the saving.

No. Christianity has survived underground and/or publicly in every country and culture. It is just more difficult.
Anyone who would throw up their hands and say 'if you can't beat them, join them' isn't Christian to begin with.
There is more to life than what is seen and heard. To walk away from Christianity, after knowing the truth, is unthinkable. Stray? We do that all the time. But to totally walk away - no, I can't imagine it.

Absolutely not, as a Christian I don't care about my "...church's approval..." I care about God's approval. There is never a cause that will justify an action like that.

That would never happen because atheists are pretty accepting of everyone. Even Christians. We'd never ban them from practicing their religion, but we would make them knock off the proselyting.
