Would you have the courage like the Columbine teenagers to stand up for God in the face of death and proclaim that Jesus is Lord? Or like the 9 year old girl in North Korea who was shot when she refused to spit on the Bible and denounce Jesus?

MzDeeLicious,

those people in Iraq that you so eloquently refer to as dying for no reason are STANDING up for their beliefs, they want to have the same rights the Founding Fathers gave us, why are you taking their rights away from them?

Yes I would have the courage. The bible says if you deny me before man I will deny you before my Father.

Funny how the Columbine teenager's friends, who were under the table with her and survived, said that whole thing never happened and her parents made it up for the book deal. But what's the truth worth when you can lie for jesus?

Great, brainwash a 9 year old until she's ready to die for it. How could you possibly think that's a good thing? Sick.

I'm not about to classify willingness to die for believing in a mythical being as courage, thank you very much.

And anyway, Cassie Bernall, the student who allegedly was asked if she believed in God and answered yes before being shot at Columbine apparently actually said "Dear God, dear God! Why is this happening? I just want to go home." Doesn't sound very courageous to me. More like someone questioning god at the end.

The Columbine boys were cowards. They hated they're lives and couldn't accept that the behavior they exhibited was not accepted by those around them so they shot them and themselves. The girl who wouldn't spit on the bible was brainwashed into thinking that not spitting on a man made object would give her eternal life. You do the math.

Yes I think I would...not by my own courage but because of Jesus living in me would give me His strength to do what needed to be done at the right time....

James Elliott once said "He is no fool to give up what he can not keep to gain what he cannot lose" (He was a missionary to the Indians in Equador and became a martyr giving his life as a result many of those Indians came to the Lord...)His story and that of Steve Saint and 3 others can be seen in the movie "the End of the Spear"

I would have the greater courage of standing for what I believe in, like all the "pagans" before me, like all those persecuted since the rise of chritianity. I would have the courage to STAND, instead of fall and become a weak sniveling fake who would rather go with the flow or popular opinion or be forced than to use their mind.

I want that day to happen. I want to stand up to evil and testify with the threat of death that Jesus is my Lord. I can understand no better way to go.

I have the courage to not be believe in superstition. I hope I would have courage to reject God during the Spanish Inquisition or deny god in some theocratic Muslim country.

There is no way that I would defend "jesus" if I was going to get shot. That's a load of bull.
