Have you ever been evaluated by a speech therapist? Does your speech cause people to NOT understand what you are saying? If your speech is affecting your communication so that people don't understand what you are saying 95-100% of the time (and you are over the age of 9-10), then perhaps you should seek some help. On a positive note, you are able to self-correct...and that is half the battle. Some people with speech problems do not have that ability. I wish you luck. Please email if you need anymore info.

Try contacting ASHA at www.asha.org and The Stuttering Foundation at www.stutteringhelp.org as one or both of them should have information to help you.
