I recently had a CBC drawn and it came back saying I had clumped platelets. I tried to search for this, and could not find too much info. Any info?

How long did it take from the time the blood was taken to when it was examined?

platelets come from the stem cell in the bone marrow normal # of platelets is 150,000 to 450,000 there function is to form clots platelets are regenerated every 7 to 10 days the old ones are excreted in spleen.

You may have a clotting disorder. Further tests should be run, but here is a page with the main clotting disorders. I have one and my mother has another,( though men can have these too).
