I stopped my daughter when she got potty trained at 2 1/2. I just don't think it's appropriate especially with all the perverts now, I don't want my daughter to think that it's okay to expose herself to someone else or for someone to expose themselves to her.

Do you mean in public or just around the house? In public I would answer never because of the sicko perverts. Around the house, I let my nearly 4 year old run around naked for a few minutes after his bath as long as the curtains are closed. Your kids are still years away from puberty, so I wouldn't say there's an immediate need to stop them, but probably within the next year or two you'll want to start encouraging them to keep themselves covered--at the very least encourage them to put on underwear.

It depends on whether you mean at home or in public. I wouldn't encourage it in public as unfortunately there are people in this world that leave a lot to be desired. At home is quite different. We treat our bodies as natural at home. We are certainly not nudists but I have 4 boys aged 11, 9, 2 and 1. Sometimes my older boys will do a streak from the shower to their rooms and change between being shy about it or being a performer. We joke at them but it is not something that they are embaressed about. My little ones don't go naked as I don't want the accidents while they are not toilet trained but as they get bigger again it won't be an issue. The oldest boy is starting to become shyer about it now and I'm sure as he matures he will choose to cover up (I hope) or else I would casually say as I do now - "Go and get something on!!"

It's perfectly acceptable to be nude at home. If we can't be relaxed there, where can we be? It wouldn't be appropriate to streak in front of unwarned guests, but a simple conversation about when/where would solve that minor issue.
Nudity is perfectly normal and natural! Many people are uptight about it but it's really not that big of a deal. Appropriate places like your home, your private backyard, a legal nude beach, or a sauna/resort are all perfectly fine places to participate in nudity.
**Nudists are more comfortable!**
