Martha Stewart Has several omelet topics on her website. Some of them have how-to videos. I've included the link to the omelet site.

Good luck!!!

Wow. So much to cover. You need a good nonstick pan. For a very simple omelet, I whisk 2 eggs with a splash of milk, salt and pepper together in a bowl, throw in on a lightly greased pan, on medium heat. Cook for a couple minutes, Throw a slice of American cheese on. I fold the omelet and gently slide it onto a plate. A true omelet is never cooked thoroughly either.

Cheese Omelet

Ingredients
2 tbsp Light butter
2 Eggs
1 cup Egg beaters
6 tbsp Non fat milk
Salt
Pepper
1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, grated

Preparation
Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Lightly beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper and add egg beaters. Pour egg mixture in pan. As eggs cook, lift edges of omelet and let uncooked egg run underneath to cook. When just about set, sprinkle cheese on half of omelet, fold other half over and serve.

Enjoy!
