No...being maddly in love means you don't care about looks...looks is a lust thing. If I really love someone looks don't matter to me at all.
Of course I'm not like most guys.

It wouldn't matter, if other things about her had not changed. I mean her character, insight and charm. In fact she was not the physical type I am normally attracted to, but I fell for her because of who she was.
If it was just physical, it would be a superficial love. Romantic love, I'd go on a diet with her. The third kind of love is total familiarity from years living and working together.

Assuming that she dumped me, then I would probably be happy that she got fat & ugly (Yea, I know that this is a petty, small & an immature attitude to have, but I would still be inwardly gloating even if I never said anything or otherwise showed it).
If I dumped her, well, that kinda means that I wasn't madly in love with her, now doesn't it? Forget that one.

The thing u have to ask urself is did he only like her for the body or for her mind? I'm in love with a girl right now and I couldn't care how fat or ugly she got because I love her so much.

If i was still in love with her....it does not matter whether she is fatter or anything else.
But if i have moved on in this time with soebody else in my life, then you need to find out.

Yeah, I would feel damn good about myself as a result. It is somehow satisfying to know that a woman that broke it off with you is now worse off.
