I was takinf 75mg did nothing but the 50mg seems to work better what else is better please advise

You have not mentioned dose of what you are referring to but please be aware that every medications has appropriate dosage required suited to the body size, the conditions being treated and a certain dose to maintain a level for such to be effective. It is not a trial and error that whatever dose would make you feel better would mean the right dose. Getting an overdose or underdose could bring harm so better to follow the dose advised by your doctor.

Post hoc ergo propter hoc? It's a logical fallacy to assume that because something (you're feeling better) necessarily has something to do with the reduced dosage just because of the timing, which is unlikely, but then you didn't say what drug you're taking or why, so you really haven't posted a full question, have you?

Depends on the drug, dude.
If we're talking about antibiotics or anti-hypertensives, you could be making a serious mistake. If you're talking about antidepressants, it might be ok.
You need to discuss this with whomever prescribed the drug. That's part of the doctor's job. Call him/her.

first consult with your physician.or go to a near by medicals and ask them for a accurate amount of doses.
