different denominations have different thoughts on this subject. i'm a baptist and was told not to get a divorce when my husband cheated on me and was very abusive. i went against my pastor and the people in the church...got divorced six years ago. God still loves me!!!!! He has blessed me so much in these past years. a year after my divorce i prayed for a life partner and lo and behold i've been with him for almost 5 years now. he's the best thing that ever happened to me besides my salvation!!! trust me, God doesn't want you to be unhappy. I hope this helps you, i will pray for you too!!

If your husband commits adultery, you have a Biblical right to divorce him.
Matthew 19:6-9
This speaks of a man divorcing his wife. But it's the same either way.

Of course you can. He or you do not have to be even unfaithful or lie to get a divorce if you can afford it.

Yes, Jesus said the only time that you can get a divorce is if one of the partners is unfaithfull (infidelity).
Read the first 4 books of the first testament and ephisians(however you spell it). :)
Good Luck!

You can divorce him for anything that you want. Why would you need to ask?

I would grant you one if I could. Yes, you could divorce him on the grounds of adultery, mental cruelty, etc.

you can divorce him for no good reason, i think thats well within your right. claim irreconcilable differences and you get a no-fault divorce.
