Jesus wants his followers to be united and become "one", just as he and his father are one.

I have no idea what Jesus thinks, but all of these denominations appear to me like a vine with a bunch of branches spreading out. Each branch splits into more branches as they get further from the vine, but they are still connected. The main vine is Christ, and the first branches are the original Christian churches. Later churches would be branches off of these original branches of the vine. Grace flows from the vine to the early churches and then on out to the later churches. I suspect there are some churches that may not be connected at all however because their teachings have become so radical that they no longer participate in the life of the vine.

"Jesus" evidently belonged to a sect of Judaism called "The Way". He is also identified with the Nazarenes. Paul belonged to this sect, but identified himself as a Pharisee in Acts chapter 23 (WELL after his conversion).
So it is not only Christianity with denominations / sects, but Judaism and many other religions. There is fighting among Sunni & Sheite Muslims.
I am not sure what he would think about any of these, but would hopefully understand how people could become misinformed after all the changes of nearly 2000 years. Though modern-day Nazarenes generally believe more closely to what they early believers did than other denominations, they are nearly all Christian nonetheless rather than Jewish.

He is probably more concerned with the attitudes involved. If Christians take the attitude that their denomination is the only one worth being concerned about, I think that would grieve Him. If it is just a question of different ways of doing God-s work, but there is a humility and cooperation together (as I have had the privilege of seeing in some places) then I think He would be delighted.

My wifes friend is armenian, her husband is Jewish, My wife is catholic and I am protestant. There are some religions who truly believe the one church is the only one Jesus will accept. Maybe not just one. What if Jesus sorts through and decides for himself "this is ok,,, this is ok,,, no not that,,, uh well borderline but ok I'll accept this."...He who believs in me shall not perish but have everlasting life...So according to scripture jesus would care nothing of church denomination or different organizations. A begger on a street who sees god in a soup line. A rich catholic parish, a wood protestant church in the wildwood. There is no sorting out for jesus but for to believe and worship in his name Jesus. He will find each individual unconditional of denomination whether islam hindu, catholic, protestant, Mormons Church. or any new social gathering in his name. I think Jesus would even be impressed that there are so many different beliefs and religious organizations.

RELIGIONS HAVE MANY hidden faces. What you see and what you know is different from the real state of things. Their faces show us something, which is different from what they really are. This is what II Corinthians 11:13-15 says, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness . . .”
There are really masks worn by many religions. Even satan is capable of transforming himself into an angel of light. That is why, the many depictions of satan that he looks ferocious, with tail and fangs, and fierce eyes, are wrong! Those who picture satan that way are without biblical understanding. On the contrary, satan is good-looking, because he will not succeed in deceiving people if he looks horrible. Remember he is a deceiver. He is pretending to be an angel of light. It follows that his ministers and cohorts also pretend to be ministers of righteousness
