But i am affraid to use a rich moisterizer or one that is for dry skin because I really really want to keep my skin clear. Any one know if I can use one of the really hydrating moisterizers. I have already learned my limit with the benzole peroxide, but my skin is still dry.

Benzoyl peroxide is terriblyyyy drying. I had the same problem before (back when I was using BP) and it took several months to get my skin to stop flaking. And I would only use a dime-sized amount every other night. It was that bad. I would use moisturizers twice a day, everyday (sometimes even thrice) and I'd still have dry, peeling skin.

Anyhow, dry skin isn't a good thing so do moisturize! It won't affect the effectiveness of Benzoyl Peroxide. Its good thing you learned to limit BP use. Now, all you got to do is moisturize everyday. Find a product that is hypoallergenic, noncomedogenic (won't clog pores), and oil-free.

I would recommend Emu Oil (wonderful, wonderful moisturizer) but since it may not easily be available locally (I order mine online), I'd go looking for a product that is not only labeled with the three ^ above (hypoallergenic, etc.) but also contains Hyaluronic Acid. HA attract moisture molecules in your environment and thus, is quite beneficial for dry skin. HTH

your skin will be super dry when using that. after your skin gets used to the benzoyle peroxide, it will be fine. if not, get like an oil of olay moisterizer... or you can get something from a dermatologist.

you should go to a make up counter in the mall, or someone who specializes in make up. this would be the cheapest way to find out exactly what skin type you have. then, they can recommend exactly what kind of cleanser/moisturizer duo to use. i have oily skin, but after cleansing it is really dry. i went to a mary kay consultant who help me out considerably.

Maybe you could switch to salicylic acid products. I've always had better luck with them.
