I'd like her to show one single credible scientific source that shows how many kilotons of CO2 removal will cool the earth over a given timeframe.

Of course it's the height of unscientific arrogance to assume that just because CO2 is a greenhouse gas, that therefore removal of it will cause the globe to cool. There are no data showing kiloton CO2 mitigation days per degree Celcius, or anything close to it.
WHY? Because there's worse greenhouse gases by far, notably water and methane and CFCs, CO2 solubility in the vast oceans fluctuates enormously with temperature (was it the chicken or egg, look up Le Chatelier's Principle), and the SUN plays of course, a pivotal role in earth's temperature. Always has, always will.
Seems Venus heated herself out of her atmosphere without the help of industrialized Venutians, and Mars is heating up just the same way as Earth, with a consistent atmospheric composition.
Pelosi, et al, are using Yahoo as a quickie poll, that's all.

Have you looked at the profiles of Bono, Donald Trump, Hilary Clinton, Stephen Hawking, Martha Stewart and all those other 'Special Guests' - guess how many points and best answers they have.
If you think that removing atmospheric CO2 won't reduce global temperatures then I humbly suggest you read some a couple of basic science books. The comprehension of how CO2 contributes to global warming is quite easily within the grasp of a typical 6 or 7 year old - and no, I'm not being facitious.

I know this may come as a shock to a number of Americans who are true believers in "Global Warming" caused by human activities: THE STAR THAT THIS PLANET ORBITS DOES NOT, REPEAT DOES NOT COME COMPLETE WITH A THERMOSTAT! Go back and enjoy the warmth and do something productive, like voting for Republicans and being an active conservative fighting the moron extremist left wing radicals. Do you want to end up as a jerkoff government employee living in a concrete box and going to work on a overcrowded light rail train, or would you like to drive to work wearing fine clothing in a BMW making some real money? Continue to support the socialists and you might find yourself on a bus vacation in Vegas playing the nickel slots for what you can afford. I would expect that her job as speaker keeps her too busy to pay as much attention to the answers shes getting as she would like. Also, as for her not picking a best answer, well, shes probably waiting to get as many responses as she can and then she has to weed out the idiots who just posted criticism and/or insults and then she has to decide who the best answer choice should go to. Personaly, I wouldnt expect to see that resolved anytime soon.

Nancy Pant's doesn't really care and she certainly doesn't know anything about science. She just loves getting her name out there for people to admire.
As a woman I am somewhat embarressed by the quality of women in various offices and I have a sneaky feeling they are being used by the good-old-boy network to dupe the public into believing they really care about women's issues.
Politicians keep saying, "Americans want this and that," but they need to remember that whoever they are, if they hold an elective office, they probably won by only a few votes. So almost half of America did not vote for them and does not want "this or that" You don't speak for me, Miss Nancy. And don't pretend you give a damn about what I think.
