how can i tell if he likes me(advice from guys and gals)?

so i really like this guy, and i don't know if he likes me. But telling him i like him is absolutely NOT an option. so what can i do? HELP!!!

Here are some things to look for to know when a guy likes you:

1. Keep an eye on how many times you catch her/him staring at you.

2. Take notice of whether s/he smiles at you a lot.

3. Look for whether s/he focuses on you in a crowd.

4. Observe if s/he has suddenly taken more interest in your friends.

5. Pay attention to any significan't changes in her/his behavior toward you recently.

6. Start showing her/him a bit more interest and see how they respond.

7. Have a friend talk to her/him or one of her/his friends about you.

8. Ask, '[name], are you interested in me?' Tips: Hopefully you will not have to use steps 7 or 8, but if you're having difficulty reading her/him, these steps are your last resort! Remember, this is not an exact science, and it may take a few mistakes to perfect your technique.

Well I don't know why you wouldn't be able to tell him that you like him, I'm guessing you're shy.
But thats okay, there's ways to work around this minor detail.

A few ways I tell if he's interested are:
-He's talkative (either because he's nervous around you, or he simply loves talking to you!)
-He's timid (like above, he could be nervous around you.)
-He tends to be over the top (If he does this, he's obviously trying to impress you. How flattering!)
-He brings you gifts (obvious again)

But if you aren't yet dating look out for these signs:
-You catch him looking at you when you sneak a glance.
-He makes an effort to be around you (by doing little things like taking the same elevator or trying start conversation, no matter how lame it may be.)

Umm. Why is it not an option? It depends on his personality. If he's the real shy guy who never talks to women and such, then all you'll have to do is start flirting with him and see how he reacts. The more nervous you make him the better. (Of course if he is that guy, he'll like anything with two breasts if it'll talk to him.) If he's the more popular, macho guy then you have to talk to him away from other people, flirt with him, and see how he reacts. There's no real way set in stone to tell about guys like that, because we often play women by pretending we're not interested in them. Your best chance is to watch how he acts around other people, then check how he reacts around you alone.

Well since you dont want to tell him which is not that uncommon... well first of all... are you guys friends... Does he know you? Find out what he likes... Try to get a bunch of yours and his friends together and go out.. start talking to him more often and if he is not living under a rock he will get the picture.... but if he doesnt then you might as well just tell him because you have nothing to lose...
