False prophets ? They " talk a fancy talk " and some blindly follow by listening to those false prophets expressing " fake truth ". So can and has it been done ? Yes...by " casting a shadow over " and " drowning " out the " voice " of Pure Soul and by listening exclusively to the physical world . . .By doing this...one can fake the truth.
Fine to listen to others thoughts. . .Yet, does it " gel " with what the authentic soul " speaks " ?
The " voice of the soul " reveals " fake truth " and " false prophets ".

People do it all the time. We only have to look as far as television. Yes, people fake truth, sometimes knowingly, sometimes unknowingly. Two people can look at the same set of evidence, and extrapolate two differents sets of "truth" based on what idea they are trying to prove is true. It's possible only one is true, it's possible both are true, it's possible the truth is neither, but a third interepretation. It depends on who is paying you to do the interpreting, as well, if someone is paying you to interpret a set of evidence a certain way, then you will look for a way to do so, or you don't get paid. It happens all the time, and results in someone spinning the truth in whatever direction they want it to go. It's the illusion of life in the third dimension, what is true for you, is not necessarily true for me. You and I can look at the same table. For you it is true that the table is maple. For me it is true that the table is Victorian. We both observe the same table, yet have two different, and equally true perceptions of it.
It's like that show recently where they opened a tomb, and tried to prove that it belonged to Jesus and his family. The filmakers set out to spin it as the true tomb of Jesus, yet many archeologists came forward to poke holes in everything the filmaker did, and set out to prove otherwise. Yet this evidence was presented as though it had been accurately studied by the people who presented it, and was the true tomb of Jesus. Who knows if it was or not, the ones who really know the truth aren't talking, they are dead.

The most affective lie is the one with just enough truth to make it believable.

Fake the Truth ??? :~)
There is no Untruth in the world...what we see as untruth is either Truth in the making or Truth in the breaking....
we fake the untruth not truth !!

if you close your eyes and "pretend" that you cannot see a person being beaten to death...
when you close your mind and "pretend" not to see the truth, the light and the goal....i think...you reach the closest in "faking" the truth....
but in the end...truth rises and enters by force...

You can't "fake" it, you've got to:
- Accept it with scientific evidence, or
- Ensure there are enough *indoctrinated* people who'll accept just anything at all without regard to reason and logic.
