I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

The answer is yes and no, because each brand has it's own formula. Some are good some are not so good, depending on purpose of use. You should check the ingredients to make sure they are not filled with a lot of fats or carbohydrates. You might try adjusting your diet to include more protein (meat, grains), more roughage (green leafy salads, grains) and veggies. You might consider taking a multi-vitamin, to make sure that you don't miss any supplements. And if you insist on diet shakes, you might try diabetic shakes that are low in carbs and fats.

Protein shakes help you build muscle. They don't help you lose weight and you'll just be building muscle underneath all that fat. Do some cardio or something.

They are very high in calories. If you eat like you normally do and drink those shakes too, it will more than likely cause you to gain weight.
The only way they can work, is if you use them in place of a meal instead of eating.

increasing the protein intake and decreasing the carbohydrate intake does have a positive effect on fat loss. but you also have to be getting enough nutrients from high fiber carbs and healthy fats. you also have to make sure that you are consuming sufficient calories daily as the metabolic rate will slow when the caloric restriction is to severe

The best way to loose weight and keep it off is with a total body cleanse product that provides nutrients. The body retains fat and fluids to buffer itself against toxins. Get rid of the toxins and the excess fat and fluid comes off. This can be done quite rapidly if you choose the right product.

bad, you may lose weight, but you'll gain it back, you can't live on them forever, therefore it is better to make a lifestyle change that you can follow for the rest of your life
