Filezilla is a nice FTP program that is free. Do a search engine search for Filezilla and download from recommended sources.

One of the best I've ever used is filezilla
you can download it on http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/
It's a fully featured ftp program that can compete with the retail ones.

For Mac's, I'd go with Fugu http://rsug.itd.umich.edu/software/fugu/
