how can I get a penpal currently serving in Iraq?

would like to give a soldier support and care packages but don't know where to start.

A Yahoo search (military penpal) resulted in many sites that will help you. If there are any Guard or Reserves units close contact a senior NCO for advice before writing a letter. If you send a care package he/she will have buddies that like goodies too.
