You probably feel welcome in your own congregation.

But no matter who you are, somewhere there is another sincere Christian who considers your form of Christianity to be inspired solely by Satan himself. (Or if you don't believe in Satan, inspired by mental derangement.)

Given the range of Christian thinking, feeling, and actions, there is clearly no consistent message from Christianity on ANYTHING.

How would you suggest others discern which group can provide the most correct perspective?

You have touched on one of the keys to "knowing"
We cannot look to man , sadly. We have to place our trust in God and ask him to show us , reveal, lead, guide , protect us.
He often uses His true worshipers to speak to others, and when this happens it will ring some truth to you in your belly.
He also sends ministering angels "angels unaware" at times. Pray , God if you are there please give me ears to hear and eyes to see and speak truth to me.

The bible doesn't preach hatred, it's just that some people use the bible as a way to promote it. The truth is that we're all sinners, which means we're all unrighteous - i.e. "evil". Sin is sin, that's all. Some preaching the "word of God" are really just self-righteous and hateful people who have forgotten that they are no better than anyone else. God is not interested in destroying people. He wants to help them. He wants to fix them. Muslims need Jesus. We shouldn't have abortions, but if someone has, they are no worse than any other sinner, despite what some Christians would have you believe. It's the awful truth that the same people who find Jesus end up becomming the main reason other people don't want anything to do with Him. So, basically, I'm saying the reasons for the hatred is because a lot of Christians are just horrible people. Like everyone else.

The good word. What is it? How will I know when I find it? In a world full of confusion and hatred does such a thing even exist?

All good questions, with very simple answers.

The good word is that Christ lives and that he has made it so that all of us can live with our heavenly father again.

We will know when we find it by the manifestation of the Holy Spirit
St John 14:26
" But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."
The Holy Ghost will bear record of the Good Word, even the the truth of Christ and his Church when you find it.

And yes such a place does exist, The Church of Jesus Christ does stand on the earth today. I thank God that it does, because in this world full of hatred I would get lost with out the guidance of the Church.

Your premise is not true; Every Christian is not considered a bad Christian by some other Christians.

While it is true that Christianity has splintered into many denominations it is not true that “some other sincere Christian who considers your form of Christianity to be inspired solely by Satan himself.”

Non-Christians love to throw that straw man out as fact and use it to demean people of Faith.

Orthodox Christianity has at its core The Nicene Creed As approved in amplified form at the Council of Constantinople (381), it is the profession of the Christian Faith common to the Roman Catholic Church, to all the Eastern Churches separated from Rome, and to most of the Protestant denominations.

The matters that you point out as inconsistent are not disagreement on this core they are disagreements on Traditions, Folklore and matters magisterial within the church: None of which goes to Orthodox Doctrine. These matters are debated, discussed and theologically reviewed inter as well as intra denomination.

There are some faiths that claim to be Christian but their core doctrine does not abide by orthodoxy stated above; LDS and JW’s are two primary examples. Other wise Christians and Christian denominations have way more in common than they do in conflict.

Hi! Just so you know... I'm writing all of these verses out... I did not copy and paste.

John 7:17...

If any man will do his will, he will know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether it be of myself.

James 1:5-6...

5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith nothing wavering. for he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Acts 3:20-21...
20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things...

The Gospel of Christ has been restored! There is a prophet of God leading Christ's church on earth right now!

Proverbs 18:13,15... He that answereth a matter before he heareth it it is folly and shame unto him.
The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge...

Read the Book of Mormon and talk to the LDS missionaries... pray about it. God will answer you!

I know for myself, you can too!! :)

I understand what you are saying. I go by Jesus' teachings. That is, in my belief, what we are supposed to do as Christians. When Jesus arrived as our savior, we were supposed to follow his teachings and the New Testament. Unfortunately, too many people still refer to the Old Testament and way of thinking, and forgetting Jesus' words. Jesus did not denounce homosexuals or homosexuality (which seems to be a big ol' issue with most "Christians"), nor did Jesus say for women to be second class citizens. Jesus was the ultimate feminist in fact. Jesus said to love all mankind. Christians who denounce certain segments of society are not following his law and teachings.

To answer your question though, I would say the group that can provide the most correct perspective is the one that follows Jesus' teachings, not the Old Testament, and that loves and treats all people with respect and compassion equally regardless of sex, race, sexual orientation, financial status, or any other category. We are all part of the HUMAN race.

It's a sign of the spirit you serve....they are all ruled by Satan... and he is violent and adversarial

In nature many diverse cultures can get along.. but in christianity you can't even get along when calling on the same one... He don't care about you just the power owning your spirit gives him.

It is possible to discover the truth. You start with doing the best you can at bringing your life into compliance with what you know in your heart to be true. As you do this and seek greater truth, you'll be led to it step by step.

Many people assume the heavens are closed, but they aren't. God continues to speak through prophets as he always has.

Read the early Church fathers and see which group's teachings most closely align.

You must judge a certain denomination by the Bible. Does what they say they believew line up with the Bible? do they practice what they preach? If you find a church that fits into those two categories tell me.
