I'm pretty sure I'm Christian, I'm a good guy I suppose, and that's all that really matters. Anywho...

I have a question for atheists, cuz I'm curious, do you believe that when you die, everything just turns to nothing. You do not exist anymore, you cannot think, see, hear, anything. You Are Gone. Dead. I'm just wondering, because to be honest, I think that would be terrible, nearly as bad as Hell. That means you will NEVEr see the ones you love again. They're dead. I honestly coulodn't be Atheist, I'm just too terrified of that possibility. Thanks :) !

I'm agnostic, but I think oblivion is the end result of death. When I die, I will cease to exist. My relatives that have died are no more, never to be a part of this (or any) realm. It's not a matter of being scared; it is a matter of reconciling the fact the same will happen to you. So in the meantime, leave a mark so people will know that you've been here.

i have by no potential needed an afterlife, even at the same time as i turned right into a baby and theory there turned right into a God. Eternity is a lengthy time period, and that i do not elect to do some thing for that lengthy. If i don't have an afterlife, i'm lengthy gone and performance no longer some thing to agonize about. i become fantastic for all those years before i become born, i'd be fantastic after.

I'm an atheist and I believe when you die, your after life is what you want it to be. If your a christian when you die, you'll go to Heaven. When I die I will be surrounded by all my friends and family, however they will have what they had envisioned. I don't believe in Heaven or Hell, just another realm. Then again, I could be wrong, maybe I'll burn in Hell or just be dead and nothing happens. Who really knows?

Jesus Fan, good to see your spreading Christ love, not a great way to reach sinners.

While it is technically possible for an atheist to believe in the afterlife, I have never met any that actually do. I don't.

Is it terrifying? Sure. But so is eternal life. Can you imagine the boredom? And don't give me that "you won't ever get bored" stuff. That makes it sound like they brainwash you in heaven.

The fear of death is one of the benefits of religion. When my mom passed it killed me. You know why?? because at that moment I knew that I would NEVER see her again.
yes when you die you cease to exist. No fairy wings and all the other stories I have been raised to believe. No heaven No hell just the grave but you will have no concious thought of it because all systems shut down

You may think I am crazy but when I came to the realization that there was no God all the fear and terror went away. Religion messes with your head too much

Can you remember having seen or felt anything before you were born? It's the same here. The world was moving and will move after you are gone. But that won't matter anymore. If there's nothing after dying, then you won't be able to recognize it.
The sad part is, that's not our decision to make. I probably would believe in a god, if it would guarantee an afterlife. But you can't make up a story and believe in it to make it come true. Sorry, it either is or is not, not ours to chose, as afraid as we might be :)

I am not addressing your question as much as I am your statement about you being a Christian. You say you're a "good guy" but unfortunately that doesn't make you Christian nor does that give you salvation. You must put your faith in Jesus Christ and repent of your sins. Also in regards to your question, if the atheists are right about dead being dead, you wouldn't even realize it so what's it matter?

I'm agnostic. I believe reincarnation makes the most sense to me, so, no. You wouldn't cease to exist, you'd be in limbo for a while until you got a new body. Energy. What kind of new life you have will depend on the deeds in your last life. I've explored a lot of religions & this makes the most sense to me if there is an afterlife. (I'm a good person, too)

Getting married for the third time and still getting another divorce. Death is still retirement either way. Dying before I ever get my inheritance sucks too. Being alone now is more heaven than hell. My second wife threatened to move out so I helped her. Life is goooood.

Pretty sure............? That means you are not. You may believe in Christ and the things He did but you dont have a relationship with Him. Its not about a title Christian so many claim that and give followers a bad name. You could be the best guy in the world and no that doesnt matter. You need to get right with the Lord. Its not what we do its what He already did for us. If you want to get right with the Lord check out some websites or email me and Ill get you started in a new direction. One where you will no longer fear anything.............Peace out............
