I'm not trying to be mean here but maybe if you work on your written and verbal skills you would have more success. I really don't know why they would hire an illegal at more pay than they give a disabled vet. I can see the lower pay for a temp. Companies don't always pay a temp the same as a full time worker. Go to the local Veterans Administration. There are programs that can help vets with job skills and placements. Also go to the site below to see if you are eligible for benefits. I wish you the best

If you are truly a disabled vet, you qualify for DAV scholarships and job retraining. Depending on how disabled you are, you can also get some disability money monthly from the VA. Get your head out of your butt---though this post looks like your head is in a bottle. Sober up and get a life, there is too much out there to help you out for you to be in the situation you are in. You are where you are because of your decisions and nobody else's. Pity party is over.

If what you say is true I feel badly for you ! But as a "disabled Vet" would you not be on full returned Servicemans and disability Pension ? More than you could possibly earn, here in Australia anyway ! They would provide housing and full medical and dental care for you as well, but WE do look after our own here ! Better luck in the next life my friend ! Should have been born an Aussie!

Looks as if they had a hiring freeze , where you went to school . Not your fault , but the result isn't good. Spelling and punctuation matter . Your post is about unreadable .
No job is permanent anymore. Education is the answer . Do whatever you can to improve that. (Really. Not joking ) Good Luck

Get an education, my friend. Take a class on the English language. Learn how to spell and use correct grammar, and you will dramatically increase your marketability as an employee... then you won't have to compete for jobs that the illegal aliens are after, and you won't have to settle for $10/hr. Rather than being angry, channel your energy and time into improving yourself.

Greedy corporations make more money when jobs are shifted out of the country. The laws overseas are more lax, so they get away with more abuse. Meantime, there are fewer jobs in the US, lower salaries and fewer opportunities to grow.

The corps benefit, we don't. Americans should be able to complain more but the government is so sewed up by the Neocons, there is no room to be heard.

Well, at least you have a MAYTAG plant. When they didn't like the way things were in Galesburg, Illinois not too many years back, they simply left for a "right-to-work" location like Tennessee.

*rubs chin as she thinks how easy this one is* Maybe you need to ask Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi and some of the other democrats on the Hill since they are the ones overlooking their illegality and wanting to make them legal and have absolutely NO regard for what the AMERICANs want.

God bless the USA!
if they were citizens, instead of guest workers that problem wouldn't exist.
not that i agree with making them all citizens, but the guest worker problem is just that....a problem!

but look at it on the bright side....the big corporations are making more money, so the economy looks like it is doing better.
