Michael's problem, as always, has been a lack of focus. He spread himself too thin as a driver by putting so much emphasis on TV and commercial appearances, and now he's spreading himself even thinner by trying to bite off more than he can chew as driver, ad pitchman, and owner of a new startup multicar team for a new manufacturer.
If he were smart, he would step out from behind the wheel, limit his TV and ad appearances, and focus on the business of running his team.
Consider his qualifying record this season, he certainly has the free time...

I don't. The best thing Michael done for MWR was getting David R. Hiring Dale Jarrett was a huge mistake and I'm sure he knows that now. Hiring Ty Norris was a mistake, DEI got rid of him for a reason.
He had a good thing at DEI, he blew it. The NAPA folks have got to be pissed, Toyota has got to be pissed. UPS has got to be pissed. Every choice he made was a bad one.
If he wants to fix MWR, he needs to step out of the car, hire a talented driver to take his spot, stop being a driver and become an owner. This is what Childress did and look where he is today.
He does have a lot on his shoulders and I'm sure nothing has gone the way he wanted, but he dug himself the hole. But the saying is, when you dig a hole, step on the dirt your digging up and get yourself out of it.
I like MW, but it's hard to feel sorry for him.

I think he's a whiner and a clown. I also think he's pretty much a traitor by leaving DEI as he did, and no I don't feel the least bit bad. I feel all his misfortunes this season couldn't be happening to a more deserving guy. As a matter of fact, it wouldn't hurt my feelings any if he didn't make another race all season long.

Yes I feel bad about his run of bad luck .
So what if his Toyota team is missing races cause from what I've seen if the field was based on speed, as it should be he would've made all races
I am sure DEI took a while to get going
And Hendricks...etc
GO MIKEY GO !!!!

Michael who?
Well he wasn't that great when he was with DEI. He is not that great now. He has like what 4 Wins total.
Did anybody expect more when he started his own team? I mean really.

It is never good to see a driver that has had some success to have such a poor showing as MIke has had.

Why should we? He chose Toyota for a big paycheck and I'm suppose to feel sorry for him? Not to mention he tried to cheat.
