Has any one heard about the man who is supposed to be the reincarnation of the buddha? I seen it on the news. they just had a short story about it. im looking for more information on that. The news report i saw said this man was being placed in a pit to fast for three years and when he comes out he will be fully enlightened and become the buddha.Where can i find out more about this?

Yup, truly enlighteded.

It sounds like a World Weekly News or an Onion story. I would check WWN first though. The Onion is usually a bit more subtle.

Buddha himself performed nirvana, so there heavily isn't a return. even however there have been many, and could be many, others who additionally gain a similar direction. So in different words, he may be a Buddha, yet not THE Buddha. ((((hugs))))

I seriously doubt the credibility of the claim.

Enlightenment is easy. It is the living as a decent human being that is the challenge.
