Why is the assumption that we are here because it was "designed" that way.

We're here because we're here. We are all flukes of nature, and nothing more.

There was no purpose behind the universe forming.. it just did... and we are just here... nothing else....

No one chose to set it in motion, so that we could be the ultimate result....

Intelligent design is GOD.... the people who believe that God created the earth in 6 days are the believers of Intelligent Design or ID.. they came up with the name during Dover trial where a school/ university (board) wanted the students to also learn about ID (GOd creating the world) or creation in science class... The teachers of course won saying that ID is not a science and Kenneth Miller was one of the top witnesses and it was amazing how they disapproved ID idea of saying that ID is a science... Science has to be measurable and testable but you can't do any experiments on God because it is blind faith..

which will require a God to save on with worldly rules and perceptions. who's to assert that a God might want to abide with the help of organic rules. The be conscious says God has never created he in basic terms become and continuously has been. This regulation will be to complicated and massive for our human perception so God by no potential bothered to complicated because we gained't and does no longer understand. you're employing limits to an all-powerful, omniscient and omnipresent being, he defines know-how, ability, and presence. God created organic rules and common sense. we are too simplistic to understand concerns of this high quality, we gained't even see God bodily because his type is so complicated and larger we would die if we beheld him. What makes us imagine we can recognize or recognize how God is? we've not sponsored ourselves right into a nook, you in basic terms have a restricted perception of the flexibility of a diety. you imagine organic rules and common sense word to the entity that created stated common sense and rules; heaven might want to defy technology and each and each organic regulation for all all of us recognize and turn each little thing on this is head.

As a Christian I believe that God is the creator and the designer of all things.

But the theory of intelligent design does not say that it was God who is the designer but makes no claim as to who, what or how things are designed only that there is an inteligence behind creation and evolution. Contrasting that to evolution and current scientific theories all of creation happened in a random fashion and out of chaos came order.

In Christ

They only said it wasn't necessarily their god to get as many people as possible to buy it. But Michael Behe does admit (even in court) that he means his god in particular when he talks about it. And he's the only 'scientist' on their side.

I agree with much of what MuslimButterfly says above. You can never prove itis not God. And I can never convince you it is. So let's just chill out.

"I believe in Spinoza's God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who concerns himself with fates and actions of human beings."
