Because we are obedient and you are disobedient. You cannot stand correction and we invite correction. You can't have what you want and believe in God. We can believe in God and be happy.

God willfully knowingly sent His Son to be tortured in the place of every person alive or who ever lived.
...
do you find that act to be justifiable for the non reciprocation of belief?
do you think this act would be done by an all loving being?
do you believe your actions here on this planet warrants pain and torture?
...
how do i justify my continuing belief and professed love towards a deity that would do such a thing as to pre-pay in full for all punishment of sin that i should have paid?
how do i justify saying that he is worthy of love, faith, and worship?
do i find these acts of unconditionally giving His own Son to pay the penalty that i should have paid, to be horrible?
if so then why would i side with such a deity?
...
uhhh. well... because gee... because He has proven that He loves me?
...

Thank you for asking, I will try to answer what I believe as openly as I can.
I believe what the bible says so while I know it is not favorable that people use scripture it is the best means of which to explain why I believe what I believe.
YOU ASK: do you admit being an advocate for a person who willfully and knowingly sends people to be tortured for all of eternity?
no, I personally do not believe that God "willfully" "sends" a person to torture.
I have to use text here sorry
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2Pe 3:10 ¶ But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Ok so there it tells me as a believer that God is not
"willing" meaning minded or intend.
This is not his perfect will nor is it his desire.
It is his will that we repent
God has a will but he will not force it upon us.
We oft pray " God's will be done" but dont often mean it.
Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
He stands at the door and knocks, we have to hear and open the door.................it doesnt tell me that he will break the door down and make me...........He simply knocks.
So it is my choice to go answer the door.
The door is Jesus
Jhn 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
I believe that Jesus is the only right way to enter into the kingdom of God........which is not heaven like most think, but rather it is in the believer
Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Luk 18:17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
We choose to humble ourselves and believe in Him as our creator , provider, protector, savior.
as a first step
This is how I see it, thank you for your time.
Have a great evening.

Good questions. Definitely no easy answers.
1. The bible says hardly anything absolutely about the afterlife. Just because most Christians believe some people will suffer for eternity in hell doesn't mean that is true.
2. The things I believe, and know, definitely about God is that he is all loving, totally good, and just. Everything else I believe has to confirm to these definites I know about God. I don't know what the afterlife will be like - but whatever happens I believe will be in line with a totally "good, just, loving" God.
More specifically, I can't imagine that the God I believe in would, figuratively have a party upstairs (heaven) when he (and everyone upstairs) knows that people are suffering horrifically in the basement. I think the most likely thing that will happen after death, is that God will cease to keep people who would go to 'hell' alive - they will stop existing (perhaps after suffering for a time, proportionate to the pain they had caused).
I don't think that everyone who has not said the 'sinner's prayer' will go to hell/die. I don't know who God will save, and not save. It depends partly why they believe/don't believe (or if they've never heard of the Christian God). If people have had bad experiences with church, or christians, or they have heard a not-really-accurate version of Christianity - then whose fault is that if they don't believe? I don't know, I don't think any of this is black and white.
There is a lot I don't know about God. There are many things in the bible that I can't accept as I interprete them - but I don't know everything (about God, and what happens after death etc) so I can't judge what those passages in the bible really mean.
I'm not going to throw out my belief in God because he seems apparently contradictory. That just suggests to me that the picture we have of God cannot be accurate. Either he is totally loving, good, perfect, just (as I choose to believe), or he is not.
Trinity, I don't know why your point got 3 negative ratings. I respect what you believe, and I agree when you said this question is very valid. The question suggests that the God most Christians think they believe in is very contradictory - and I don't think any Christian can have an easy reply to that critique!

Since God created everything He has the right to do whatever He wants. Yes, I am an advocate for him, anything He does is justifiable, and I won't have eternal pain and torture because I accept Jesus as my personal Lord and saviour so I'm going to heaven. If you weren't worried about your eternal soul you wouldn't be thinking of things like this. I hope you can work it out before it's too late.

Hey Johnny Z, Anybody that believes the biblical god is more concerned with how one looks at a women over ifone owns 10 women as slaves will believe anything. These people also believe in this god that has slayed nations for haveing human sacrifices and then has one of it's own. Talk about a "do as I say,,,not as I do mentality".

He doesn't send people to be tortured for all of eternity. He gives them the option. So choose wisely.

Gee whiz.... I guess they side with him because they don't think they have a choice - a fella who's as nasty as that is someone to bow down to, (duck actually.)
I'm glad I don't have that problem... I've used christian scalp ointment. It works wonders.

yes...and no
That is not the God I love. It is the God taught by what I consider misinformed people.
The God I know would blow raspberries at that god.
He really is there and He cares and loves you.He isn't that ridiculous. He too would find that god absurd.
