ok for example you do something terrible to someone and then you are sorry, according to Christian analogy your sin is forgiven... But what about that person? What if that person did not forgive you? how could Jesus (pbuh) override that person's hurt to forgive you? logical or illogical? you cheat on some one or rape some one then feel sorry for it, if it is not for consequences people do it over and over then feel sorry they did it...

Christ forgives those who are truly repentant, not those who continue in their sin. The person harmed has nothing to do with Christ's forgiving another. However, once forgiven, a person should set things right with those he has offended if possible.

There are always consequences for sin. Many times it's reparations to the victim of the crime, a sentence in prison is also sometimes required. Sometimes it's a fine. Sometimes the law requires the forfeit of your life. it all depends in the law that was broken. These consequences are required of the offender no matter what God does. The eternal consequences of sin is death, Spiritual Death, that is eternal separation from God. Through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, His blood shed for those willing to except salvation through faith in Christ. God's penalty for sin is paid in full. As you can see man may exact Him penalty for a wrong suffered, while God is still able to forgive sin through Jesus Christ and His work on our behalf... Jim

repentance is different from feeling sorry. feeling sorry is the start, but repentance is a full turning away from the sin and allowing Christ to be Lord in your life again. The bible also says that if you sin agains someone you should go to them and ask to be forgiven. If possible you should repay them with a blessing. However, you do not do this to be saved. You do this becuase you love the Lord and you want to do what is right.

All sins are forgiven for which we repent. We are responsible for our own actions and not someone else's actions . If they fail to forgive they are being sinful. Jesus said go and sin no more. We as Christians are to forgive all our transgressors.
I lived among Muslims in Saudi Arabia, Syria and Lebanon for eight years and I know that the concept of loving ones enemies is foreign to Muslim culture and one of the most difficult of Christian teachings to understand and accept but as Christians we are commanded to do so and to forgive. Only God can seek vengeance.
In Christ
Fr. Joseph
I have seen the Sharia in its application and it is brutal, cruel, barbaric and anything but just and fair. There is no love in Islamic law only vengeance which is totally contrary to Christian teaching and the teaching of God.

God is like Jesus who can forgive sins. All judgment was given to him by the Father GOD. He is the WORD of GOD, so in essence whatever He says; GOD says too. It is as simple as that. When GOD created everything, GOD speaks through His WORD (Jesus: referred in John1:1&2). So eveything was created through Him. Some religion says He is created by GOD. This is nonsense: How can GOD create His WORD which is already part of Him? Like us when we came to being we already have word to use when we speak.
Spiritually, everyone who ask forgiveness can be forgiven if he truly repents but he must bear and suffer all the consequences of his sin. This is the law of restitution.

Let me see, you believe that God needed an additional prophet because He didn't get it right the first time.
Of course, this prophet also have to get it right every time.
Do you honestly believe you really know anything about God (YHWH)?
Do you even think your prophet knew the difference between the God of Moses and the chief God at Kabul?
Answer: God forgives sins, and you would know that if your read the Christian bible.

How many Muslim women are raped in prison? It's your right to forgive someone or not anyway. What are the statistics of rapes and convictions in Islam? How would you even know? I have heard some other groups use the phrase that they take care of their own.
